The Fern Lodge has been the scene of many an Adirondack engagement, elopement and honeymoon. It is a very intimate and romantic atmosphere - with blazing fireplaces inside and out, views of Friends Lake, the gardens cascading to the lake, and the lakeside slate patio and firepit.

There are many public rooms of the Lodge and sitting areas outside. Favorite places during an Adirondack romantic getaway include the Great Room sofas in front of the fireplace, the outdoor front screened in porch with fireplace, especially in the evening when you can hear the loons call. There is a fire pit lakeside with Adirondack chairs and the boathouse deck or floating on the boat itself.... All locations are perfect for an engagement or a wedding ceremony.

For an elopement or commitment ceremony, we have several local justices and officiants to recommend that will come right here to hotel to perform your ceremony. We are also happy to help put you in touch with florists, musicians, or a Pastry shop. We are happy to assist you in personalizing your wedding to create a lifetime of memories! We use a Private Chef Service and local catering who can design a custom menu for just the 2 of you or for a group of up to 14 at the dining room table or even up to 60 more.......
